Starting this week is the movie “Saving Mr. Banks.” A lot of people can’t wait until this film opens up. It tells of how Walt Disney got the rights to “Mary Poppins.” This movie also make Disneyland history too. It was filmed at Disneyland during park hours. This is the first film had gotten that right. A lot of people don’t know the reason behind it, but know you are going to know. Walt Disney said that no filming would be made during park hours. It would take away from the Guest experience. Walt never wanted that to happen. Until now.
There are a few parts that were filmed inside Disneyland that were filmed during park hours. There are a few places in Disneyland that can still look like 1960′s Disneyland. That is Main Gate, Main Street and Fantasy land.
